Competition Results for Best Article in the Journal 2018

Post by MaryA »

You may recall that in September 2017 we announced a competition where the contributor of the best article published in each edition of the Family Historian would win a year's free membership of the Society. The winning articles are as follows, and if any of the winners have not yet replied to the email sent, please let us know.
A Widow's Tale: 18th Century Poor Law in Operation - Geoff Lomax
Researching the Starvation Case: The Story of the Aspinalls - Marie Riley
Hardwick Square, Liverpool to Buckingham Palace - Anne Georgeson
How I Learnt Not To Take My Family's History For Granted - David Railton

Congratulations to all the contributors of our winning articles in 2018 and I hope it will encourage more articles to be put forward this year.
The competition is open to Members and Non Members alike.
