WW1 History Fair at BBC Radio Merseyside

BBC Radio Merseyside with the Up for Arts Project is hosting a WW1 History Fair at BBC Radio Merseyside – to mark the commemorations of the ending of WW1 Anniversary

The free event is a drop-in for listeners between on Wednesday 7th November between 11am – 3pm

Taking part:

The Royal British Legion

Liverpool & South West Lancashire Family History Society

The King's Regiment – National Museums Liverpool

The North End Writers & contributors – performing their WW1 drama

Poet, novelist, biographer Gladys Mary Coles – giving a talk about the Great War


And a chance for you to see our finished ‘Past & Present’ WW1 Soldier painting produced by Up for Arts along with BBC Radio Merseyside listeners …

Pencil in the date Wednesday 7th November between 11am – 3pm & join us at BBC Radio Merseyside for our free drop-in Up for Arts event to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the ending of WW1
