You could check if there was any mention in the newspapers. I doubt that you would be able to get any records other than that.

A bit of a long shot I know but there is a local author by the name of John Smith who has published two books entitled "The Register of Death" Vol's 1 (2007) & Part 2(published 2009).
They are very well researched but deal entirely with executions performed at the prison during the capital punishment years.
I am led to believe that the Author was either a high ranking Police Officer or a senior Warder (I was never sure which !).
The preface of the books give a long list of credits for help in the research and may be of some use for that alone ?

He obviously had complete access to the prison registers and had full co operation from the Prison Library.
Just maybe if you can track him down he would be the perfect conduit to such detail as you seek ?
Dont know of any other way of potential discovery.

You're welcome. For a very meagre outlay of a couple of quids it should give you some ideas.
A search on facebook might get you contact with the man I would guess ?

Sounds a good suggestion and seems you could get a copy on Amazon at least at £4.20, shopping around may get you a better deal.
