Re: Can some one help please.

Don't forget my favourite site. Lancashire on line parish clerk. It is free and has lots of churches on it , but not all. Stood me in good stead when I started. Good luck Lynne

FMP would let me search, but I don't have a subscription so could get no further. The number is in the odd seve...

Re: 34, Gascoyne Street

Thanks for that. I am sure they kept a shop at that address or somewhere in the street. When Mary Jane Harrison Nee Howard died in 1935, probate was granted in 1939 to William Osborne , Shopkeeper's Manager. Oh for a time machine :D Thanks Lynne

The electoral roll for 1885 says it was a house and shop. Could anybody help me find out more about t...

Try phoning Scotland's People. I have found them very helpful. They might look on the original for you. Worth a try,

Re: Jarrett Roberts b c 1880

Thanks for finding the older Jarretts marriage for me, Bertieone. I'm glad he did not die. Thanks Marchbird. That looks likely , I have been trying for years to find him. As the older one was still alive, the other would be not called Jarrett. Thanks you very much.
