Re: Lancashire Library Newspapers

I get the feeling that as Bertieone says, Edge came along with Windows 10 so I imagine hey have withdrawn support for IE, but as sites have moved on in line with W10 perhaps that's why they won't work with earlier browser.

Re: Look-ups / Advise please

Nice one Bert!

Unfortunately I've checked some of the directories I have copies of between 1825-1843 but had no luck coming across a Frederick Dickeson (or variations)

Re: FB, John Doforo

Encouraging a FB member to join the forum doesn't appear to have worked this time, her answer to you was

" Thank you William also lived with Hilda in 1970. Thank you & your friend for all the help!"

Re: We Need Your Input

I'm bumping this up following such a response to one of the articles in a previous journal, the poster has received a number of replies to her article from people who are related.

If you have a good story to tell, please send it in to the Editor, you may be surprised at the responses.

If there are any registers still in existence for the schools/homes you are interested in, they will be held at the Liverpool Record Office. If you have no luck searching the online catalogue, write to them via the contact button and ask the question, you'll receive an answer that way. https://liver...
