Members Interests Secretary

A vacancy has arisen for the role of Members Interests Secretary within the Society and expressions of interest are invited from members who may wish to apply for the role.

This post is an ideal opportunity to become involved in the running of the society in what is an important responsibility within it.

The principal elements in the role of Members Interests Secretary are:

  1. To maintain a master spreadsheet of members’ Interests
  2. To liaise with the Webmaster for uploading the database contents onto the Society website
  3. To transmit all new and revised details to the Magazine Editor for inclusion in the Society Journal
  4. To attend the quarterly General Committee meetings and give progress report as necessary.

The role requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and security/backup of data files.
